Christmas 2013

This Christmas was a blast. Dean and I made cookies for Santa, and we attended the Candlelight Christmas Eve service. On Christmas, Santa came and brought us trains! Grammy and GPaw got him a chair, and he even got a ride on train from his Aunt and Uncle. It was a traintastic Christmas!

Pre-Christmas Festivities 2013

Christmas Card 2013. Since he was a baby our preacher has said Dean reminds him of Charlie Brown. Well this year we decided to make that our Christmas Card.

We like Santa this year! We also loved the matching outfits he and his cousins got from Grammy!

Wade Family Christmas. I made a Red Velvet Cupcake wreath, didn't make it in one piece though. They kinda fell off the seat on the trip over. :) Dean had so much fun, but was sad to see everyone leave.

Dean's Nursery Then and Now

This is Dean's Nursery before he arrived. You can see his lamp isn't sitting on top of the freshly finished dresser, and there is no changing pad there yet. Pretty much ever piece of furniture was refinished, given to us, or bought second hand. My mother made the bedding and window treatments, and we made all the shelves and the map out of all license plates.

This is his room now without the crib. We moved the crib out and moved Dean to his big boy bed. He did great! No issues at all. On the bare wall, I made a clock and toy storage buckets and hangers to match the car tag map. I think it turned out cool!
