Dean's All American First Birthday

Dean's first birthday party was full of All American things. Like his dad's Chevy Truck for presents. Burgers and fries and chocolate chip cookies. When planning an outdoor birthday always consider the possibility of wind! Balloons with helium don't do well with wind.

His invitations were poster size inspired by a political campaign poster.

Beach Trip 2012

Dean turned 9 months old a the beach this year. We had a blast that week. Between pirates and princesses, lu lu's and fun in the sun, he loved it all! The girls cracked me up in family pictures on the beach. They did not want to smile at all!

Dean's First Easter

Dean turned 6 months in April.

The church Easter Egg hunt was held at our house for the first time. It went great. Dean had a good time too!

Dean came down with RSV just in time for Easter, so we had to post pone the gathering at our house and stayed quarantined on Easter weekend.

When we finally had our Easter gathering, Dean got to see much of the Wade family for the first time since Christmas.

As if Fifths disease and RSV weren't enough, Dean came down with a stomach bug a couple of weeks after having RSV. He didn't get too sick, so he enjoyed his time with his momma.
